How Does It Work?
Laser technology works with the properties of the color spectrum. ROYGBIV, or red, orange yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet -- those rainbow colors -- are what enable laser, or light energy to work. Dark pigment, as opposed to lighter pigment, readily absorbs the light. The laser works by targeting the dark pigment in hair. Once it has its eye of the target, it “zaps” the hair, essentially vaporizing it. With repeated use, the laser is able to “zap” the hair’s underlying follicles. This, in a nutshell, is laser technology.
