Wedding Hairstyles for Little Girls
From LoveToKnow Hair
If you're the party responsible for preparing a flower girl for a wedding ceremony, then keeping up to date with the best wedding hairstyles for little girls is a valuable use of your time. Most weddings have a particular theme and perhaps the bride has already dictated the overall desired hairstyles for her bridal party. But if you haven't been assigned a professional hair stylist to care for the flower girl's hair, then your attention to perfection will be put to the test!
Dealing with Picky Brides
Most brides are very particular when it comes to their bridal parties, and it is best not to inflame their tempers at any point during the wedding planning. Before you start envisioning your best wedding hairstyles for little girls, ask the bride for details regarding how the flower girl's hair should be done. If the bride states that "curly" is the theme for the bridal party, make sure to inquire whether curly involves the hair being pinned up, half up, or completely down. If the hair is up then ask whether she wants tendrils.
Even tendrils can be a complicated affair, as some tendrils are wispy, others chunky, and these strands of hair can be placed in both the front and back of the head. Sure, you may think, it's just the flower girl and everyone should be staring at the bride. What do these details matter? Well, the guests may be staring at the bride, but if the bride is staring at the flower girl and then gazing at you menacingly because you failed to impeccably style the child's hair, then these details will bear increasing significance. Hence, when you haven't been assigned a professional stylist, make sure you know exactly what the bride wants. If you have been given the name of a stylist or you have a hairdresser of your own, be sure to inform the stylist of the bride's preferences.

Cascades of Curls
There has always been something romantic about little girls with long curly hair styles falling atop their shoulders. Although straight hair is more sophisticated, most brides prefer the romance of curls for their bridal party. One of the advantages of a curled style for little girls is that perfection is secondary to the fullness of the hair. With the straight styles you'll be spraying individual strands into place, whereas curls add a touch of untamed glamour. Your only disadvantage with curled styles is that should one or two curls come undone, it makes for a pretty sorry picture.
If you are using curls as one of your favored wedding hairstyles for little girls, try using large rollers and limit your use of heavy styling products. The tighter the curl, the more styling products will be necessary to hold the curl in place. Products such as gels, hair sprays, and mousses can weigh down the hair or make it look stiff, and stiff hair loses the romance of big bouncy curls.
The Best Accessories
Many flower girls will be required to wear accessories in their hair. These accessories may be floral wreaths, head bands, strings of real flowers, or just a single flower. Formal indoor weddings suit headband styles very well because these events focus on refinement and elegance. Outdoor, afternoon and seaside weddings are best accompanied by floral wreaths and flowers because the botanical accessories emphasize the freedom of the natural outdoors.
However, due to the delicacy of real flowers, sometimes you may need artificial silk flowers to maintain the little girl's look throughout the wedding. Tarina Tarantino makes haute couture silk flowers in a variety of colors. These accessories employ sparkling Swarovski crystals that play with the light. In fact, Tarina Tarantino's silk flowers have been a hit with celebrities for years. Also pandering to the tastes of the stars is flower designer Michelle Roy]. Michelle's flowers come in an even wider variety of sizes and colors than Tarantino's designs. Moreover, they likewise employ Swarovski crystals, and Michelle Roy also designs dragonfly hair accessories that glitter wildly in the hair. Both Michelle Roy and Tarina Tarantino provide fans of sparkly things with a large assortment of barrettes and hair accessories, all of which can contribute to some modern and new wedding hair styles for little girls. On the rare occasion that the bride tells you to "be creative", you can order stock from both Michelle Roy and Tarina Tarantino online at their official sites.

Heidi - Sorry, the photos are from a stock agency and we don't have more details on the look, but it seems to be small twists that could lead to a full or partial updo. You could take the picture to a stylist to get their opinion, and they may be able to replicate much of the look for you.
