I recently found a great chemical free tea tree shampoo which really helped me grow stronger hair its from the Made from Earth product line called the Tea & Protein Herbal Shampoo.it actiallu has wheat proteins in it and thats what makes my hair look so full after I use it.

The directions say for the shampoo to work you have to leave in your hair for 2 - but I usually do it for about 5, since my hair used to be so thin. But 5 minutes really works for me cause I can see a major difference in how thick my hair is

Even my husband comments on how my hair felt better and he never notices anything! I recommend it for all healthy women out there who want better full hair.

Joy - The first step is to stop using the relaxer that's causing the irritation, and the problem may correct itself. Use gentler products, and if it does not clear up, see a dermatologist or other specialist for recommendations specific to your case.

Nothing grows hair. Hair grows at about an inch every month for everyone regardless of race. Grease can help keep african american hair from being dry, dryness causes hair to break. the grease will not grow your hair.

Trimming split ends, just the ends not all the hair works wonders. Pine Tar grease is good. I prefer using Glover's Shampoo, the ointment, and the liquid. (Dog Mange) as it was called years ago. I also use Sulfur 8 hair grease. I think the sulfur helps to correct any fungus in the hair. yes, we can have a fungus in our head and not even know it. I went back to using these old school products and my hair is stronger and healthier. Oh, it's growing also. I think this is also due to me not using chemicals the way I use to and deep conditioning my hair. So, to grow your hair, first it has to become healthy. I would not advise anyone to cut all their hair off. Then to replace it with a wig. Clip the splt ends and if you desire to wear a wig, do it.

I have the best results using pine tar hair grease. The best part is I love the smell of it. had I not I would be bald. I have grown my hair and it's better with the pine tar. This is the only grease I love. it grows my daughter's hair as well. If at all possible cut off as much as you can. Start over with new healthy hair. I cut off all my hair. I was fine with in and now over a year later My hair is past my shoulders. What I do is keep the come out of it. I know first hand (licensed braider) how braids and comes tear the hair. if you braid it use only your hair. No need to add anything. You lose an average 100 strands daily. then with the knots from the dirt on the braids that just removes more. I braid my hair back in 5 braids. Then put on my wig for a month. Keeping my hair greased. Then a few months I wear a wrap. Then start over again. No more problems. :)

Little - Unfortunately, once hair is damaged it can take a very long time to grow back. Check out these articles for tips: Split Ends, How to Grow Your Hair Long, Diet for Healthy Hair, and Natural Hair Care. You'll also want to be sure you aren't using tight styles that can weaken your hair more, and be sure to use a good conditioner for extra moisture.
