Thanks for the expert insight and tips, Beauty Therapist!
-- Contributed by: MayntzSometimes, therapists simply cannot get the hair to come out. It varies from person to person. I am a therapist and I can say sometime I have trouble getting some of it out but other times I can get it all no problem! It really does just depends on your hair growth cycle, how you remove it, etc. Alot of people blame the therapist for not being able to remove all the hair but there is no-one or nothing to blame, it is just one of these things. For tweezing, an ice cube or cold compress to numb the area would help during tweezing.
-- Contributed by: Beauty TherapistRach, A warm compress can help soften the hair and make tweezing go more soothly. Another alternative to tweezing is a bleach designed for the bikini area - some women have reported success with this method. Good luck!
-- Contributed by: Amy FinleyI have been getting an extended bikini wax for over a year now, but the hairs are still very stubborn and it takes 2-3 times for the beautician to remove the hair. Then there is still a bit of fine hairs left and she has to tweeze a fair bit, which im not a big fan of. What can i do or cream can i apply to soften the hair folical and loosen the hairs so it makes it less painful for me.
