Steven - Most costume wigs are very inexpensive and poorly made (in terms of wigs) as your wig professional said. If you only want to wear it once or twice, though, you may be able to control the frizz with a strong hair spray enough for one evening. Best of luck!

hi, I have a new costume wig, a pink beehive with long hair at the back. I washed it in cold water, used shampoo, styling tools specially for synthetic wigs. Thing is, the fibers seem to have broken and it has lost some of it's shape. When I wear it, the strands get into my face. I went to a wig professional and got told to throw it away, that its something of bad quality not really worth styling.Plastic synthetic fibers of very poor quality.

This wig is only meant to be for a party, worn once or twice..what can I do to fix the friz problem and the fact the hair strands don't stay together and wave properly? Thanks!!!!

Dick -- You could take a basic wig and recreate a style easily from photographs and a bit of research. Unfortunately, we are not a retailer or manufacturer of wigs, so if you want to purchase an 18th century style, I'd suggest contacting a specialty manufacturer and asking about customization services.

I see costume wigs and human hair wigs. Can you make up an 18th century wig of human hair? Thanks, Dick Hamly
