-- Contributed by: Linda PierceHi Cassady, Sometimes being too aggressive with styling and overuse of appliances and styling products can cause more hair to shed than normal. Shedding some hair everyday is normal, but if it seems excessive and you are concerned, I would suggest talking to your parents and possibly your family doctor.
-- Contributed by: Amy FinleyHey, yeah, I'm 15 and for about 2 or 3 years I have been shedding my hair. Everytime I take a shower more and more hair comes out. I can never find any bald spots but I notice my hair isnt as thick as it used to be. And I was wondering if any of those diseases can in fact happen to young teens. The case that sounds most like mine is :Telogen Effluvium Do you think I should go to a doctor and get it checked out since I am so young?
