Caity - It can be difficult to modify a classic French twist for short or medium length hair, since the style needs longer hair to be tucked beneath the twist. Check out Cute Hair Updos for some ideas!

-- Contributed by: caityAngie - Generally, the front of a French twist is very sleek and just smoothed across the forehead. You can have smoothed out bangs if you want, or for a more severe look, pull the hair straight back leaving the forehead exposed. The key is to keep it all very minimalist.
