Callyjean - Extensions won't last forever, but they will last for several weeks or even months depending on how you treat your hair. The more styling and changing you do, the shorter the extensions will last.
-- Contributed by: MayntzThanks for sharing your experience, Bebe!
-- Contributed by: MayntzHow long will it last? I'm having them done soon, but it is very expensive .. Could I keep it forever??
-- Contributed by: callyjeanI went so long with crappy hair before trying extensions! Now I love having hair when I could never grow it and I knew nothing about them when I first started!! I've been doing my own ManeMaxx strand extensions and can't imagine going without! Yay for hair extensions! (Do lots of research before getting them!)
-- Contributed by: bebeThank you for sharing your experiences tadpol, it's great to have that personal perspective on what hair extensions can do for your look. Best wishes!
-- Contributed by: Mayntzhuman hair extentions are not cheap but they are worth ever penny. I have very thin hair and have tried everything to add fullness. At 55 I am finally able to get the kind of hairstyle I want. I don't mind the touch ups and seeing my stylist often. I feel pampered and love the look I finally have after all of those previous years of frustration and down days over hair. I was known as the hat lady, not anymore. If you want the newst look, get those hair extentions. You will love them. Make sure your stylist knows exactly what he/she is doing though. I have seen some bad extention jobs. So don't let just anybody do them. Your stylist needs to also know how to cut and style them properly, not just attach them. Be patient with them at first, some may detatch, use caution when combing. I pay 300.00 evry 12-14 weeks. This includes color, cut and extentions.
-- Contributed by: tadpolDaniella - The cost depends on a lot of factors, including the type of salon you visit, the quality and length of the extensions, how they are applied, how many are used, and more. Your best option would be to visit a salon for a consultation and price quote about the types of extensions you're interested in.
-- Contributed by: MayntzHow much do extensions cost what is good price that is not to expensive
-- Contributed by: daniellato remove glue from hair and the knots, be very delicate and gentle so the hair doesnt break off. Try using a rat tail comb, using the end (pointy part) and brush up from the knot, first apply some oil. I remove glue from clients all day long. www.hairsand.com
-- Contributed by: SandA friend of mine has hair extensions and they have knotted at the glue areas, any tips on how to remove the knots or hair extension?
