Haz - No product works on all hair, and if your hair is very coarse it may not respond well to the chemicals in Veet. I'd suggest trying other hair removal creams to find one that is better formulated for your skin and hair, or investigate other methods of hair removal that work better for you.

I've tried veet more than once now on my legs and it removes absolutely nothing. It's annoying because I know so many people who use it and it works for them. Why oh why does it not remove ANY of my hair? I leave it on the longest that they say you can?

Alison...I have use veet hair removal creme...and i think it works very well if u take the spectula and go over the area twice or thrice back and forth....it might become a bit red at first...then you can wash it properly and apply a good moisturized lotion...It works...try it!!! ;)

Sara - Sorry to hear about your bad experience; everyone can have different reactions to different products. Be sure to follow directions carefully and never leave a product on too long -- it can cause irritation, rashes, and burning.

do not use surgi-cream, i did a test spot the size of a dime, and i have a horrible rash from it on my face and it is painful almost wants to bleed!!

Sandra - After-effects can vary based on the specific product. Some may leave redness for a while but it fades quickly, while others have moisturizing properties for smooth, silky skin. Some do claim to help make hair finer and lighter, but none really thicken hair or cause other unwanted effects. Of course, some of the an individual's reaction will be based on their personal chemistry and hair type, so results may vary.

hey, does it has any after-effects like shaving ? thickening of hair and so on ...?

i tried Veet hair removal cream and i found it lastest the same length as shaving does and it comes back even ...lier than before it also smells really bad and i can't find any that lasts long enough for a two day holiday. :(
