Hi eman,

There are many reasons for dry hair. Some basics tips to help combat dryness include: using moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, using a deep conditioning treatment, and usingdaily leave-in conditioners. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and eating a balanced diet, and protect your hair when it might be exposed to water for long periods of time, such as swimming. Hair vitamins or a good multi-vitamin may help, especially if you are following these tips.

Hi Juicy, Well, first -- your mom is right -- there is no magic formula to make your hair grow fast! But, a balanced diet with good protein *will* help your hair get healthy. If you are really concerned that you are not getting proper nutrients, talk to your mom about just getting a good basic multi-vitamin to take every morning -- with your good nutritious breakfast!

Also, make sure you are taking good care of your hair on the surface. That won't make it grow faster, but it will help you avoid breakage and split, fraying ends, which make it look shorter and just not so hot. What do you need to do? Use a good conditioner to moisturize your hair, comb or brush gently and avoid styles and processes that cause breakage (like tight braids or straightening).

Meanwhile, maybe you just need to browse for a new style that will make you happier with the length your hair is now? A new look may make waiting for it to grow much easier! -- Ann M., LTK Editor

Alright so.. I have been trying to get my hair to grow to at least shoulder lenghth but, I'm even focusing on eating more protein to stimulate my hair growth, I kinda want something that works fast but I know that doesnt exist I just want something that helps my hair grow faster than it does now. I have considered getting some hair growth vitamins, but my mom does marketing for a living and says that they just want money... If your product works I would love to try it but I would like to sample it first, If it works I will tell everyone I know (and thats over 60 people) and tell themm to try it..... I guess this is your first comment on this page so please consider whats been said and god bless with your buissness P.S. does this work for African Americans too
