Erin - If you want an emo look, you may want to thin out your hair with some choppy or piecy layers. That will lower the volume and give you more flexibility with the look as you adjust it to fit your mood. Enjoy!

what if my hair is really thick? will it still work? its a lil longer then shoulder length, and wavy. I'm wanting to get a new style...will this work?

Schyler - Really thin hair can easily be styled in an emo look. Experiment with Emo Hair Color and the type of look you want to find what works for your hair.

I need to know how to do my hair in the "emo" style. I need to know how short to get it cut, what way to get it cut, and how I should actually style it for everyday. I've got red and black streaks at the moment, so please help me out!
