I have a follow-up question I'd like to ask Michelle Martin about a topic she touched on: moisturizing versus protein shampoos and conditioners. Is there any way to submit a question to her? I see that she works at Hair to Dye For in Virginia Beach, VA, but I couldn't find a website or email address for the salon or for Michelle. Thanks.
-- Contributed by: RachelJill - I would never add other ingredients to hair dye; you never know how the added items will interact with different chemicals in the dye, and it could drastically change the resulting color or damage your hair. Instead of this makeshift option, I'd consult a professional colorist for tips on how to cover gray hair.

A stylist told me that if you add salt to your hair dye it will help color the stubborn gray hairs. Unfortunately she didn't tell me how much salt and I forgot to ask her. Do you know how much is the correct amount?
Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
Sincerely, Jill Taylor faithjill@yahoo.com
