Will - Dreadlocks aren't much of a business style, but if you keep them neat, pulled back, and well cared for, it shouldn't be a problem. Getting a job it about more than your hair style - you'll need to dress professionally, have a businesslike attitude, and be well qualified for the job. If you are well qualified and its just your hair that's a concern, you may want to reconsider if you want that particular job after all, or see what their grooming guidelines are and see if you want to change your look then. Best wishes!

Now i miss my hair and want to grow it back out and get dreads but im concerned about what people will say about it if i try to get a job. What should i do?
-- Contributed by: Big WillTrey - It all depends on how long your hair is right now and how long you want the braids to be. Keep in mind that hair will be shorter when it is twisted and braided. For tips on getting your hair longer, check out How to Grow Your Hair Long.
