I have medium length hair.. but its sorta curly soft but really thick... i dont know what to do with it, and i dont know what kinda gel to use to style it.. do you have any thoughts or ideas on what to do with it.

also when its long it grows up words like a fro sorta...

I have terribly curly hair, and every time I'm tried hair gel, it makes me look bald near the top/back of my head. Also, my beautician says I shouldn't use hair gels, because they damage hair over a long term. Suggestions?

Hello, I have always had short,spikey hair. My by would like be to try and grow it out. I have no idea how a mans medium lenght hairstyle wood look, and if would even look good on me. I have tried several stylest, and they are not really any help. They just want to tell me to trim it. Any kind of suggestions, or a place to look at 'recent' pictures would be great!
