Tina - While research is as yet inconclusive, it appears that spearmint tea would help reduce the growth of hair -- hair that is already grown would not be affected. There are many other hair removal techniques that can help eliminate unwanted facial hair while you try the tea to minimize growth.

Hi I have very bad facial hair on chin, upperlip and other parts. Just wondering if spearmint tea will remove the existing hair or it will reduce only the growth. What happens to the existing hair. Please Advise

Thanks Tina

Hi T., Since the findings about spearmint tea and reducing hair growth aren't conclusive, it's difficult to say. Since the tea is non-toxic, it won't hurt you, but there are no guarantees it will work. Periodic waxing or other proven hair removal methods are an option. Best of luck.

Say i shaved my arms, legs, stomach and back as a teenager, (curiousity was my biggest flaw) and now there's hair all over. I try waxing but it just grows back. Will spearmint tea help that? Or am I doomed forever?
