Mandy - That sounds like a great combination! Be sure you choose bright teal or turquoise shades so they will stand out well with your black hair, and either color the entire lower layer or use thick chunks that will be nicely visible.

My hair is naturally black, and i was thinking of getting bold, teal or torquise highlights in the lower layer?.

Shortie - That would be a nice color combination, but it may not be as visible as you'd like. You might want to go with a bolder contrast, or consider just adding red highlights to brown hair.

Paige - It sounds like a great color combination, but it also depends on your eye color and skin tone. Check out Right Hair Color for You for tips on finding your perfect shades.

Brooke - All sorts of two tone combinations can be attractive, but if both shades are very dark the contrast won't show up as much. It all depends on what type of look you want.

I have my hair two toned, dark blond and dark brown. But I was curios if it would look better if the dark brown was darker to like a black underneath.
